Package Responsible Engineer is responsible for ensuring that the delivery for the agreed scope and/or Package meets the quality requirements, is functional and in compliance with governing requirements from authorities, customers and best practice.

Package Responsible Engineer is responsible for plan and cost for the agreed scope and/or Package according to Project Organization Chart.



• Take part in execution of multidiscipline projects and studies from concept to completion

• Execute modification projects on MODUs

• Package responsible role for projects with focus on scope, time, cost, quality, risk and reliable forecasts.

• Project communication with internal and external stakeholders

• Ensure that the project meets relevant legal framework, regulations and requirements.

• Risk management in projects

• Secure commercial frame conditions and involvement of SCM



• Higher technical education, i.e. technical college or university, with a Bachelor or Master degree or equivalent education.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience (Master), equivalent 8 years with Bachelor and 10 years without a higher degree, preferably within multidiscipline projects.

Other relevant experience can compensate for lack of these experience requirements.

• Thorough knowledge of operations of drilling, equipment, systems and engineering delivery related to the projects Scope of Work.

• Thorough knowledge of governing requirements of authorities

• Familiar with Statoil project framework and technical/LCI requirements (ARIS, TRs and WRs)

• Familiar with Statoil applications (SAP, STID, Procosys, PIMS, PDMS)

• Good multi-discipline technical understanding and ability to acquire knowledge of new subject areas.

• Preferable experience with projects related to drilling facilities or offshore modification projects.
